Life has been somewhat of a whirlwind for me since Martin Clunes launched his new book – Training John and Murray.
Martin’s new book features myself and his account of his visit to me when I worked with him and his wife, Philippa, to train John and Murray. Martin’s book is really heart warming and hilarious, and I feel very honoured he has written in so much detail about his experience with me.
Since the launch my phone hasn’t stopped ringing with dog owners from all over the UK, and the USA! wanting to book in with me for training, I’ve been very busy! I’m really looking forward to catching up with Martin and Phillipa, and the 2 boys of course, this summer at their annual fair www.buckhamfair.com held in Dorset on 2nd August where they raise funds for the Dorset Country Hospital and Emergency and Critical Care Appeal.

When Martin Clunes welcomed two adorable Jack Russell puppies, John and Murray, into his Dorset home to share with all the family’s other animals, he imagined idyllic walks and loyal companionship. Instead, the two brothers unleashed a whirlwind of chaos.
Only then did Martin and his wife, Philippa, learn about littermate syndrome. And that shredded furniture was going to be the least of their problems. It seemed everything they’d been doing was wrong. These puppies were out of control and possibly even lethal . . .
Driven to their wits’ end, the couple embarked on a desperate search for help. But one thing soon became abundantly clear: restoring order wasn’t going to be easy . . .Heart warming and hilarious, this canine catastrophe with a happy ending will bring a smile to the face of dog lovers everywhere.
