We found Ingrid through reading about her in the Times article about Martin Cloones and his dogs. Having not got anywhere with other trainers we decided to give it a go! We attended the 1 day intensive day of training.
Maisie ( Spanish water dog) is 4, pulled a lot on the lead, barked in the house, and her recall was non existent. She was very shy and lacked confidence.
Ingrid provided us with a training plan, and clear instructions that we both used to work on with Maisie over the following weeks. Be warned, the home training is not for the faint hearted as it is time intensive – four 30 minute sessions a day – every day. Sticking to the plan, however we saw improvements in Maisie that we really hadn’t thought possible.
It’s now 2 months since we first saw Ingrid, and whilst Maisie will always be in training, we now have a dog we can trust on walks off-lead, that walks on lead and doesn’t pull, and that barks less at home. We are all much happier including Maisie.
